This could either be done in the coach’s jurisdiction (being a role model) or in the jurisdiction of the new Education Consultant. There is money in the NCSBN resource fund that could finance this field trip.

It is a requirement, and I think a huge benefit of being part of the compact is the ability to share that information. So I think most probably, have one designated point person that, then, coordinates with others in the office. I don't know. And you can hop into the chat and feel free to share how many folks in your boards are required to fulfill records request through the compact as opposed to, perhaps, just your standard public records request.

And my personal philosophy of all education is let's bring it into the gaming philosophy where clinicians...and this is so controversial that they didn't even want to hear about this. Why don't we just accumulate points when we have time by answering questions, rather than taking exams? I think if we certified clinicians because most clinicians are very self-driven, and just take advantage of that natural affinity to want to learn by collecting points to stay certified rather than always relying on a one-time examination.

So what is the entity status of the ICNLCA? ICNLCA is a “joint public agency of the states” and an “instrumentality of the party states.” NLC Art. 7. a. 1. Not for profit Corporation. Private Association Joint Governmental Agency of the Member States ICNLCA is affiliated and supported by NCSBN, but ICNLCA remains an unincorporated association of Compact member states and a separate entity.
