This database is the government of Canada’s terminology and linguistic data bank. This standardized data bank holds several million French/English equivalents to facilitate consistent translation of the official languages of Canada. Due to the specificity of the nursing profession, there are occasions when no translation exists in the Termium Plus® database for some nursing and/or healthcare terminology.
