The APRN Compact allows advanced practice registered nurses (APRNs) to have one multistate license with the ability to practice in all compact states. APRN mobility is key to providing greater access to care. You can help bring the benefits of the compact to your state by sending a message to your legislators asking them to support APRN Compact legislation. About | APRNCOMPACT Menu ▼ Menu ▲ ABOUT & BENEFITS STAY INFORMED CONTACT US The Best Way Forward Health care today requires access and expertise. Advanced practice registered nurses provide both. Research has repeatedly demonstrated that APRNs provide safe, high-quality care with great outcomes. An APRN compact is an interstate agreement that allows advanced practice registered nurses to practice in multiple participating states with a single license. Inspired by the Nurse Licensure Compact, which has enabled seamless RN practice across states for over two decades, it would bring the same efficiency, safety and success to advanced practice nursing.
