    - [Hong] Thank you very much Jason for the question. The answer is yes. All the judges of standard- setting are the nurses from Ontario and BC. For the ones we just had in June 2021, we have 12 judges, and all of them are nurses from these two provinces. Some of them are LPN, some of them are RPN, some of them are RN, some of them are educators, some of them are clinicians, and some of them are newly licensed LPN themselves. So the answer is, yes, all the judges for standard-setting are the nurses from these two provinces. https://www.ncsbn.org/16034.htm ©2021 National Council of State Boards of Nursing, Inc.

But I'm thinking that all of those new nurses, as they transition, if they had a virtual nurse that they could always call on, take their little iPad into the room, answer the questions, help them assess, just be there, a real experienced nurse that's been in the trenches for a while, has all of those good skills, and that's with them all the time that they can call on 24/7. And I just think that's a use of technology and, you know, coming AI, I don't know if anybody wants to talk about AI. But virtual nursing, you know, when I first heard about it, I thought, "Oh, this is not a good idea."

The first thing we're going to be working on or one of the things is the automatic discipline speed memo so that NLC member states will be notified through a speed memo when another NLC member state places a nurse in an alternative-to-discipline program. So this will be a proactive notification of other member states when that box is checked and that information is entered into Nursys. Next slide. Also, and much more evolved, we are working on the development of a compliance dashboard. Now, what is this dashboard? This dashboard is going to put you in the driver's seat. It's going to place all the information at your fingertips, will help you to promote compliance with the NLC requirements, and enable internal and external monitoring of the data.
