These are acceptable forms of evidence of PSOR because each requires the individual to sign a legal attestation indicating that the state is that nurse’s PSOR. 4. When does the 60-day period begin? The period begins when the nurse arrives in the new state with the intent of that state being the new PSOR. 5. How does the rule impact travel nurses and military spouses? Generally, travel nurses who visit another state are only doing so temporarily and are not making a permanent change of PSOR. Therefore, this rule does not pertain in this scenario. However, if a temporary position in another NLC state leads to a permanent role whereby the nurse decides to make a change of PSOR, then the rule would apply.

We are being honored for our collaborative efforts this past year. I think one of the most important things about NCSBN's awards program, is it is a peer recognition approach. So, to be honored by other regulatory professionals who we admire and who inspire us every day. It's even more inspirational when you really sit and reflect on it.

Since this procedure had a good detection rate, the current research used the procedure from this study (van der Linden & Guo, 2008). Models Used This research used a response time model proposed by van der Linden (2006) for modeling response times. For more detailed information, please refer to van der Linden (2006). Suppose test taker j operates on item i at speedτ j (τ j ∈ ) and the observed response time is ti j , f (ti j ; τ j , αi , βi ) = αi ti j √ 2π exp { − 1 2 [αi (ln ti j −(βi − τ j ))]2 } , (1) where βi represents the time intensity of item i and αi represents the discriminating power of item i for person speed, similar to the discrimination parameter in item re- sponse theory (IRT) but for person ability.
