And then, another key term for licensure would be the Multistate Licensure Privilege, or what I hear more often referred to as the privilege to practice. And that's the legal authorization that's associated with a multistate license that permits you to practice as a nurse as either an RN or an LPN in a remote state. Then, we have key disciplinary terms. And these are the ones that I probably deal with most of the time and that you probably deal with most of the time in your work and investigations in discipline. Encumbrance. A revocation or suspension of, or any limitation on the full and unrestricted practice of nursing that's been imposed by a licensing board.
