    The continued adoption of telehealth and the likelihood of future crises and natural disasters is cause for leaders and stakeholders in noncompact states to take a second look at enacting the NLC in their state. Helping others and protecting the public are the hallmarks of the NLC. I am proud of the NLC commissioners and the various NLC committee members that have worked tirelessly to ensure successful operation of the Compact. I am thankful for the opportunity to have served as NLC chair for the past two years. The passion, partnership and commitment-to-cause of commissioners, committee members staff, and key stakeholders was and continues to be inspirational.
