Washington, D.C. An NLC bill was filed in mid-July. An official hearing has yet to be scheduled. Hawaii In April, the legislature adopted a resolution convening a working group to study the NLC. The working group held a total of eight meetings. A report of the working group’s findings and recommendations is due before the legislature reconvenes and the report will likely influence the appetite for advancing the NLC in 2024.
