The periodic performance of practice analyses (i .e ., job analysis) studies assists NCSBN in evaluating the validity of the test plan that guides content distri- bution of the licensure examination . Furthermore, practice analysis studies have long been recog- nized by measurement and testing professions as important sources of validity evidence for licensure examinations (APA, AERA and NCME, 1999; Ray- mond and Neustel, 2006) .
