Here, just as an example of the chronic pain journey, which is just really a terrifically useful tool. This is a static document that you can download from the site, but the actual Chronic Pain Journey Map is a dynamic website that you actually click through. So it can be really sort of a neat education and practice tool. So just to kind of circle back now before passing it back to Kathy.

Most states are going electronic. So that means when you need to prove to someone that you have a nursing license, the employer or whatever entity you're proving it to should be looking it up in a database, not asking you for a piece of paper. And that's because of the fraudulent activity that occurs with pieces of paper, like a license, okay? So this is the site where you do that.

Research Library | NCSBN
The research library contains a selection of research study articles that have been published in peer-reviewed journals for the purpose of advancing evidence-based regulation. But then within purview, sometimes I've heard, you know, as you set up a SharePoint site that has sensitive information, and it was set up years ago, you know, it got everyone permissions. But chances are you gave some things away, maybe you put some things in storage, and your new place just had a lot less there. So there's a phrase we use called spring cleaning, well-timed for what we're doing here, and that is that instead of moving everything over, we're just going to move the things over that our members need. So just having a much less cluttered site really puts us a step ahead, even in addition to things like searches and tagging.

And so I've learned really hard-to-do applications and see if it works and test it out. And so, one of my best applications has to do with the MasterCard bill. I mean, does anybody have a credit card bill? Okay. Do you charge on it? Okay. So, do you get, like, three or four pages sometimes? I mean, that's a good month for me. So, you know, my husband used to say to me, "Da,da,da,da, blank, blank, blank, Kathy.Do you need all this stuff?"

And as you can see on the slide, our participants included clinical nurse educators, nurse managers, staff nurse preceptors, and 11% of others who describe themselves as nurses that work with new graduate nurses. All of these participants had experience working with new graduate nurses in the past year. Now, if you take a look at the slide, you can see that it was a multi-site study, cross-sectional design. We had 312 participants from 19 states across the United States. We use snowball sampling in our efforts to reach the preceptors and the people who are actually working with our new graduate nurses.
