The really, really exciting part of machine learning is what I call unsupervised learning, so it's just sort of feed the data into the computer and the computer is going to give you patterns that it recognizes. For instance, we all know there are two types of diabetes right now, type 1 and type 2, and that hasn't changed in probably close to 100 years. So why hasn't anything changed? Well, things are going to change because with unsupervised learning, and this is already data that's being reported now, they're actually probably hundreds of subtypes of diabetes that we just haven't recognized in the past because we hadn't had this amount of data nor this robust and AI that's available.
