APRN mobility is key to providing greater access to care. You can help bring the benefits of the compact to your state by sending a message to your legislators asking them to support APRN Compact legislation. APRNs save time and avoid the unnecessary cost of obtaining multiple licenses. Health care providers have a stronger workforce and better emergency response. And most importantly, patients get increased access to care, whether that's in a rural clinic, a specialty practice or through a telehealth visit. APRNs, with their specialized training and experience, must be able to reach patients when and where care is needed most.
