    But if we...the state has the legal authority, we're going to assess some sort of fine or civil penalty, whatever it's called in your state. And we want you to submit to, I don't know, one, two, three courses. And we're going to give you six months, or we'll give you a year to complete the online courses. That varies from state to state. Generally, we don't see those as encumbering the full practice of nursing. They've just got to take a course, often they're online, often they complete those things in four, five, six hours. There are exceptions to that length.

    So, first of all and foremost, it helps document how staff came up with the offer that we're going to extend to the licensee. But then it's also used by our legal staff, our legal assistants, and our legal coordinators in actually drafting the order. So, we put the law and rules that we're going to be siding. If we're going to mandate any online courses, we put the courses right there, we put the law or the rules, if there are any components that are in violation, we put that on there. And then our staff, we draft the findings of fact, and that's probably a little bit different than other boards.
