There was a difference in outcome index means between associate degree and baccalaureate programs with baccalaureate programs at 165 and associate degree at 155. LPN program mean index was lower than RN at 154 vs. 158, a reflec- tion of increased attrition. There was no difference in index means between private and public programs except in BSN programs. He immediately perked up, and I'll admit, for maybe 30 minutes or 45 minutes, I wasn't working. I was playing. We were exploring all sorts of ideas of what a robot doctor could be, what its powers could be? It shoots lasers, it makes cookies, all the good stuff. And while this presentation would be far more entertaining if we just played a video of that conversation, I want to focus today on the basics of artificial intelligence. What it's going to mean for health care? How regulators are approaching it nationally and internationally?

You also have a scenario where employers are refusing to give references or only giving very skinny references saying they worked here from this period to this period. So, we're not giving any character information or any detail. So, we've come across that a lot in licensing because we have a legislative requirement that we get an employment reference of good character, and the majority of them will refuse to give us anything or will only give us dates of employment. And a lot of them have moved around. So, we're feeling like we're in a bit of a quandary with what's happening in society about approaching employer references and then a little bit about what we're learning here about employer references or employer information is important.

Shu-chuan, I'm going to move back to you with a couple of questions related to computer adaptive testing. So the first one is, in our presentations or materials, we show evaluation happening after the 70th question, and the attendee is asking why it begins after 70 questions. - This is a very good question. We make it 70 questions because that's the requirement for the minimum- length exam. So after you've answered 70 operational items, the computer starts to evaluate if your exam met any of the three stopping rules to terminate the exam, and then the exam will start to compare your ability to the passing standard to decide the pass-fail decision. - I'll take it.

And don't let me leave out territories because I could be guilty of that, but territories as well, in the compact, Guam and the Virgin Islands, and we certainly welcome the others. So, to start out about this amended 60-day rule, I want to point out that although we often refer to it as a new rule, it actually is a rule that's been in existence, and it was merely amended. And it was amended for good reason. We often find that nurses would move from one state to another, meaning, changing their primary state of residency, and not get a new license in the new state of residency, right? Because I think, to some people, that seems like the logical thing.

Whether it be through a messaging system or a call center, it is necessary to be able to support nurses whenever and wherever they become overwhelmed. • Stop expecting nurses to be superheroes. While the idea that nurses are superheroes may come from a place of good intentions, it places a heavy burden on nurses. This creates a precedent that nurses must constantly perform at a superhuman level Superheroes do not get overwhelmed, they do not need help and they do not need a break. This is an unsustainable expectation and is harmful to the workforce.
