If a candidate's result is cancelled, revoked or invalidated without a finding that the candidate engaged in irregular behavior, the candidate may appeal the decision and/or will be offered a free retest. NCSBN is exploring technology that would allow candidates to take the NCLEX online. This would allow candidates to take the test in locations other than traditional test centers, while still maintaining ultimate exam security and integrity. Won’t people try to gain unfair advantages on a remote exam? This is not your ordinary remote exam that exists today. We are building a new technology that ensures the person taking the exam is who they say they are and that they are not getting assistance of any kind. It will be just as secure as taking the exam in a testing center.
