Julie and I, both know, in law school, what we do to learn about the law is we look at case decisions. We look at how the courts interpret what happened. It's always going to be Monday night quarterbacking, hindsight is what? Twenty/forty, maybe 20/30, but actually 20/20. So we're just looking https://www.ncsbn.org/13303.htm ©2019 National Council of State Boards of Nursing, Inc. All rights reserved. 2 to make this an adult learning experience. So basically, what we've done is we've picked 10 cases, 5 from U.S. jurisdictions and 5 from Canadian jurisdictions.

Forty other APRN programs they were actually precepting for. So we had nine schools that we were working with. But when they wrote in their comments on our survey, there were 40 additional schools that they were precepting for, and some of them or a lot of them were online programs, or people that worked in their, you know, particular setting that perhaps are going back to school and actually seeking clinical training opportunities. [inaudible] I think from what Maureen told me the purpose of this conference is to be provocative.

If I'm fumbling with the AV equipment, you might see me as a certain kind of a professor, right? And so I can't fully control that. So it's sometimes how other people define us. And so when we think about, "Who drives identification?" some of it is us and some of it is those people around us helping to drive identification. https://www.ncsbn.org/13621.htm ©2019 National Council of State Boards of Nursing, Inc. All rights reserved. 2 A couple of things to keep in mind about identification. It's not necessarily 24/7. Think about some of the ways in which you identify as a parent, as a man, as a woman, as a person of a certain race or ethnicity.
