I think it was just last week, several members of the board of directors, and some of the EOs that are in this room and other folks that were invited to the first opioid collaborative, Opioid Regulatory ©2022 National Council of State Boards of Nursing, Inc. All rights reserved. 5 Collaborative. So it was the first time...certainly there has been, you know, many meetings in your individual jurisdictions around the country related to the opioid epidemic. However, this was a group of just regulators coming together for an initial meeting, and there will be future meetings and expanding on the work that has been done.

They're different consoles, but these are all laced together in a single system with AI security, with the content, psychometric security added to it. I love this one because I know nobody today, without using virtual machines, that can actually launch a CAT exam without what I call latency problems. ©2023 National Council of State Boards of Nursing, Inc. All rights reserved. 5 Remember... It's Loretta [SP], right? Yeah. So, Loretta, if you were sitting in an exam and had to wait five seconds for the next item to come up, how happy would that make you? - [Loretta] I'd want it faster. - You want it faster, right? And so we call latency that.

It also reduced their feeling of swimming in an ocean and being all alone and trying to figure it all out, how to get to that lab when you're on a 12-hour shift if you're lucky enough to be employed, how to do ©2026 National Council of State Boards of Nursing, Inc. I don't know how many times across the 41 interviews, the individuals would say, I never thought it would happen to me.

So, now, what would happen with hers, if her Missouri license would expire and then she would try to reinstate that in some fashion, she would no longer meet the grandfathering provisions because she now has not met the multistate license requirement. ©2021 National Council of State Boards of Nursing, Inc. All rights reserved. 5 And, again, the grandfathering provision goes away if they let that license expired. Next slide. Once you've added NLC comments, then you can set your report parameters to just look at cases without the report comments. So you don't have to look at them over, and over, and over again.

However, the difference is that when you're going to have a Multiple Choice Matrix, you have to select one answer per row, whereas the Multiple Response Matrix, you select more than that. ©2021 National Council of State Boards of Nursing, Inc. All rights reserved. 5 So, there's checkboxes for that versus the Matrix Multiple Choice where there's radio buttons. So, it may look like that and feel like that, but they are different item types than a Multiple Response, Select All That Apply. - Okay, terrific. And then Emily, I'm going to send this one your way.

They can be difficult to correct quickly. Think about a world in which you are in an office with everybody, and you walk by and hear an employee give someone the wrong information. ©2026 National Council of State Boards of Nursing, Inc. All rights reserved. 5 You can immediately intercede and say, "Hey, that's not correct. Here's the right answer." At scale, where you don't hear those interactions on a day-to-day basis, that can actually be difficult to correct quickly. So you have to have a monitoring plan for how you deal with that.

That really hasn't changed too much in terms of...because if you look at that, the first set of bars shows you how many never did it, and that hardly changes. That had one year where it seemed like there was a ©2024 National Council of State Boards of Nursing, Inc. All rights reserved. 5 little bit of an increase, but it didn't drop back, but it's around that 50% mark, and it's been that way most of the time. And then of those providing services remotely, telehealth services remotely, the proportions that provide services over state or national borders, it's remained pretty constant, that the pattern we've seen has been pretty constant in terms of the service provided.

We created a snapshot, right? We have a report, it's long. We wanted to cut it down. Lawmakers want one piece of paper in their hand, if even. Actually, they want it in their inbox now. ©2024 National Council of State Boards of Nursing, Inc. All rights reserved. 5 And so we created this survey snapshot. It just has the highlights. Marketing developed ads that were of all shapes and sizes and could be put on social media, could be put on the internet, on news sites, etc., highlighting that 90% number. And then we created a state-specific grassroots page where Massachusetts nurses or members of the public or whomever, any grassroots supporters could go to nursecompact.com/ma.
