I'm happy to answer any questions about this in the Q&A session, or if you want to go ahead and put in your questions, I'm happy to take them later on. I use a two-stage difference-in-differences estimator. ©2026 National Council of State Boards of Nursing, Inc. All rights reserved. 5 It's been developed in the econometric literature. It's by a guy named Gardner. Basically you estimate a stage one, then you estimate a stage two, and that deals with treatment timing heterogeneity. Again, happy to answer any questions about the specific model that anybody has.

So if your primary state of residence is where you're voting and paying taxes, it seems that you should also have your driver's license there. And I see in your question that you're saying it may be different. ©2021 National Council of State Boards of Nursing, Inc. All rights reserved. 5 What I can tell you is that when it comes to the multi-state license, you're going to need to be able to show proof that you reside in the state that you say you're residing in. So, if we go back to the Texas example that I looked at earlier when we showed the map, if I'm a resident of Texas and I am applying for a compact license in Texas, when I complete the declaration of primary state of residence, I'm going to put Texas on that line, and I'm going to sign my name.

And again, the process will be the same, the TA will escort the candidate outside of the testing room but it is, you know, very important for the candidate to know and let your students know that all breaks, scheduled or unscheduled, do count against testing time. So during their break, let's say they'd like to ©2019 National Council of State Boards of Nursing, Inc. So, any sort of study material, electronic devices, and weapons of any kind. You'll be surprised, so we just want to make sure that all of that, we'll just get it out of the way, prohibited to access.

British Columbia, Ireland, Singapore and the UK continue to offer some or all of these specialized educational programs. RNs with this specialized education are registered in separate categories on the jurisdictional register.

So, what you see before you is the final three-variable model, including open caseload, number of case steps, and umbrella agency type. ©2021 National Council of State Boards of Nursing, Inc. As before, case volume, increased complexity of cases, and umbrella agency type contributed to backlog.

And North Carolina rules allow any physician who's held a license, that's the Board, and who has held a North Carolina license to apply for reinstatement of that license after it's been surrendered. So there is a ©2021 National Council of State Boards of Nursing, Inc. All rights reserved. 5 rule that talks about reinstatement of a license after surrender. There's also a statute that says the Board can restore a license that has been revoked or otherwise acted upon on such conditions as it deals it's appropriate. And those last two bullet points we felt very consistent with the idea of a retained property right that would give the Board the right to take disciplinary action against a licensee who had surrendered his license.

Marianne, I have a question for you, specifically related to type 1 diabetes and glucose tablets, the need to take those tablets potentially during the test, but I'm going to broaden it to required medications in general. ©2022 National Council of State Boards of Nursing, Inc. All rights reserved. 5 What is the process if a testing candidate would need medication during the exam? Is there a process that they go through? Are there certain rules for how that would work? - Sure, Jason. I mean, this is accommodation, and it is… Typically, if they need access to any sort of medication during the exam, an accommodation would be entered.

Unique nurse identifier is an identifier that, regardless of the reimbursement, identifies a nurse. As soon as a nurse is licensed, you need to be identified, and that's what NCSBN ID does. ©2024 National Council of State Boards of Nursing, Inc. All rights reserved. 5 So think about it this way. If it's a nurse record, the top of the header of that nurse record would be the NCSBN ID that will identify the nurse. And in that entire record, all of the data elements that you see, that would be the name of the nurse, the date of birth, the SSN, the license number, or the license numbers.
