An officer or director, who runs for another position on the Board of Directors, can maintain his or her current position on the Board of Directors while running for the new position and, if not elected, can complete the term of his or her current position. Section 8 9. Vacancies. a) Officer Vacancy. A vacancy in the office of president shall be filled by the vice-president for the remainder of the president’s term.
