Normal memory and traumatic memory are stored differently by the brain, okay? So the hippocampus, and this is great, right, this is the first time I've ever done this, so you're welcome, all right, I really did this, all right. You can take a picture of that thing and go to that website. You don't even have to write it down, right? All right, never mind. All right, okay. I missed him on that joke right there, all right? I'm gonna keep working. All right. So just like your prefrontal cortex is impaired during traumatic events, so is your hippocampus, right?

We have about 15 training programs that have already been approved in Kentucky. We also now are utilizing the MACE exam, which is offered through the National Council of State Boards of Nursing through Credentia. So that is just now getting ready to go up on our website within the next two weeks. So we're very...we've had very good results from this. And I also, just another caveat, I think it's important for the regulator executive director to be involved with professional organizations that speak to these entities.

And when I saw that segment, it kind of made me think, like, "What's coming, and how is this going to be regulated, and how are we going to watch ©2024 National Council of State Boards of Nursing, Inc. All rights reserved. 7 over this kind of stuff?" And the service that they offered is more of a generative AI kind of solution. And you subscribe or buy this site, website, or whatever it's called, Vitruvius or something. Transcript_2019TriReg_Federal-Legislative-Update.pdf
NCSBN was a national leader in launching its compact as a professional licensing model in health care, and while our compacts may be different, we are united in the advocacy for state-based license portability solutions. In a final note, the FSMB recently released its latest national physician census, our fifth since we began the process in 2010. The census, which can be downloaded from our website, is conducted every two years and includes the most comprehensive data about physician licensure available. A few facts, this year's census reveals that there are now nearly 1 million licensed U.S. physicians, DOs and MDs, and a 16% increase since we reported these statistics.

Which application do I need to complete when relocating to another state? If you are relocating and therefore changing your primary state of residence, you must complete the application for licensure by endorsement in the new state within 60 days of relocating. You will find the application on that board of nursing’s website. 4. I am a travel nurse with an Ohio compact license and my primary state of residence is Ohio. I will be taking a 13‐week travel assignment in Florida. Then I will be returning to Ohio. Does this new rule mean that I must apply for a Florida license?
