    What we want to call your attention to is that, by 2027, over 800,000 RNs and almost 200,000 LPNs, that is, 1 million nurses say they have an intent to leave the nursing profession. This is equivalent to 20% of the total licensed nursing workforce. And what is even more alarming is we are seeing something that we have never seen before, 24% of those nurses that want to leave nursing have less than 10 years of experience.
