Tip Sheet October 2013 Federal Reporting of State Licensure Actions - Reinstatements There is only one reporting scenario that does not require a 1280/1480 revision to action to reinstate an individual’s license or privilege to practice — when the disciplinary action of probation or suspension is reported with a specific time period AND automatic reinstatement box is checked. All other scenarios require the board of nursing to enter a revision to action — 1280/1480 (license restored or reinstated, complete or multistate licensure privilege restored or reinstated, complete) in order for NPDB to reflect a reinstatement.
