This question I think builds on your response to that which is it was noted with select all that apply that at least one of them seem to use 0/1, at least one of them seem to use plus/minus. How do you differentiate and know when to use each? Does it come down to the select N feature of the item? - Yeah, absolutely. Yeah. So anytime there's a select N, we're asking the candidates to make a predefined selection and so in that case, we'll use the 0/1 scoring rule.

If you go three miles the other direction, Amazon literally built this humongous data center for a customer of one happens to be the CIA. And I'm not sharing anything secret. I read it in the newspaper. But you kind of see the number on this slide. It's a humongous number. That's called an exabyte, 2 exabytes in fact, and with the growth that we're seeing, it's going to be 175 zettabytes by 2024. That's business data, personal data. There's all sorts of data. You get minus points for guessing incorrectly on any item that is sort of open-ended which says, select all that apply, which means I'm not forcing you to select only three. I'm saying you can select as many as you want or as the least amount you want. That becomes a plus/minus scoring, +1, -1. In those items where we are saying select the three that apply, we go +1 or 0, meaning if you failed to select, you get a 0. If you get it right you get a +1 because we're directing you to that. And the last thing in that partial credit is, where there are linked items, where an antecedent impacts your next answer, those are linked and you must get both parts right to get a single point.
