Once the requests are approved and the candidate has been made eligible by their nursing regulatory body, Pearson VUE will then email the candidate their authorization to test, which will also state accommodations granted. When scheduling an NCLEX appointment with accommodations, if a candidate has been approved for any of the following accommodations and no additional ones, they may schedule their appointment online, extra time, 30 minutes, 1 hour, 2 hours, 3 hours, adjustable contrast, and adjustable font size. Candidates approved for all other testing accommodations must schedule their appointment by calling Pearson VUE, NCLEX Candidate Services listed on their ATT, and ask for the accommodations coordinator.
