    Saaadi advocates that the profession and boards must do more to protect patients from sexual assault by physicians. Dr. Saadi described a call he received at the Boston Area Rape Crisis Center from a woman who had been raped by her surgeon 30 years ago and had since that time avoided receiving medical care.
