My RN and APRN license…is clear, active and unencumbered...but in your database, under license status, it is listed as CONTACT BOARD OF NURSING-- see history. This is incorrect and should state UNENCUMBERED. The (state) shows no current disciplinary action. Please clarify probationary status on your website. My license is not suspended!! That happened a long time ago when my attorney didn't show up at the board meeting. It was resolved and my license was reinstated a few months later.

What is the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC)? The Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) is a binding legal contract between participating states that allows registered nurses (RNs) and licensed practical/vocational nurses (LPNs/VNs) to have one multistate license to practice in their home state and other NLC states without needing additional licenses. 2. What are NLC Statutes? Statutes are laws enacted by the legislative body of a state or jurisdiction. The NLC statute is the legal authority in governing each compact state. Each state participating in the NLC adopts the same statute (also called the model law or model legislation) to ensure uniformity of multistate licensure eligibility in the compact states. 3.
