The system allows the boards to now correlate applications for licensure with the approval of Affidavits of Graduation received from the nursing program. Can the board use the Affidavit of Graduation portal to process Out of State applications? No, the Affidavit of Graduation portal was developed to be utilized by in- state NCLEX Nursing programs where there is no need to collect transcript from the school but a validation from the Dean of the nursing program. Boards should follow their current processes for verification of education for out of state programs and collect transcripts etc. as may be required.

And again, just a reminder that a record starts when the nurse registers for NCLEX, they're assigned that NCSBN ID number. And then that NCSBN ID number is what, you know, works through Nursys, who have the record for the individual and follows them. And so I'm excited about it. And again, I just urge you 100% participation and the value of that.
