In Andhra Pradesh, India, three individuals must attest to the nurse’s good moral character: one attestation must be from a person with good social standing and not related, another from an employer, and the third must be from a school superintendent or medical practitioner. Azerbaijan requires personnel records and a statement from employers to satisfy the moral character requirement. Apart from moral character, the most common additional fitness to practice requirement employed by NRBs is proof of proficiency in a particular language.

And like I said, it's been a highlight of my career to be able to chair that committee and work with such great folks. So, I would like to highlight for you the hard work that the NEC has done over the past year. You can see, but I'll have you pay attention to bullet points five and six, because I think this is what we're all here for today for delicate assembly. It is a proposed '26 RN and PN NCLEX test plans. So, if I haven't learned anything since I started as a regulator in 2010, when I started NEC back in 2014… Two things that you learn, one, it's psychometrically sound, and two, it's legally defensible.

Well, specific to state boards, we have look out how artificial intelligence intersects with the definition of the practice of the profession in which it's used. For medicine and nursing, you often have to look back to the definition of the practice of medicine or the practice of nursing that is in your medical practice acts. We will have these conversations around some of the core issues there. You have to look through the definition to see is the AI analyzing? Is it treating? Is it diagnosing? These are questions that we have started looking at from the medical board point of view, and I assume the nursing boards are looking at this as well.

1 | Complaint to the Medical Board • I am writing to report Dr. Hogue for poor care when I was sick. I went to the Emergency clinic for a very bad cough and chills. I saw Dr. Hogue and he told me I was OK and would get better. Dr. Hogue hardly examined me and did not do anything for me.

And so it's I think this conversation would be… I think if we engage some of our board councils and the rest of the team that works on disciplinary cases that might help us in identifying some of these things, so bringing them into the public arena, but earlier than perhaps they are now. - Right. Well, thank you very much. I'd like to thank our three panelists for their presentations, for their insight into this very concerning topic. I'd like to thank all of you for your attention. We will pause now for a 30-minute break.

Each study used a combination of document reviews, activity logs, expert input, and a large-scale national survey. These results provide strong evidence to inform and support future test plan development for both exams. With both the RN and PN practice analyses now complete, we can turn our attention to what happens next. The findings from these studies don't just sit on a shelf. They directly inform the next version of the NCLEX test plan. Let's take a look at how that process unfolds. Now that we've looked at how the practice analysis is conducted, we can shift to its most important application, the NCLEX test plan.

Here, I just would like to add that having a faster BSN-to-DNP growth in these programs and students going into these programs, we then also have to think about the workload on the faculty. Workload on faculty in schools is much heavier for the BSN-to- DNP students. They require more time in school and they also require more attention when moving through these clinical projects because they don't have the experience. Not in all cases, but in most cases, they don't have the experience that the MSN-to-DNP student does have. So, I just say that to pay attention also to the faculty here and the workload increases that the faculty are experiencing with this BSN-to-DNP growth.
