    Led by US equities, returns for the NCSBN investment portfolio for FY-24 totaled $44.5 million, The total investment portfolio returned a total of 19% for the 2024 fiscal year. On September 30, 2024, the total fund market valuation equaled $267 million with 51% invested in US stocks, 9% international stocks, 35% bonds, and 5% in the Clarion Partners real estate fund. The investment consultant confirmed that the current asset allocation continues to be appropriate for NCSBN. The committee also noted that the mid-cap equity portfolio has been underperforming the benchmark index.
