IDs presented for the REx-PN must be valid, government-issued, and include a first and last name in roman characters, a recent photo and a signature. Name Change Requirements If the name that the candidate registered with is different from the name on their identification, they must bring a marriage license, divorce decree or court action legal name change document to the test center on the day of the test. All documents must contain the name change in Roman characters and be the original copies.

I mean, does anyone feel like boards can do whatever they want to do right now? No, right? The Chevron deference was overturned, and that's a whole different presentation. But really, our state legislative bodies and the larger world, the public, is looking at us and saying, "Why are you regulating in this manner? Prove to me why we need this regulation." So that is something we stay hyper-focused on, particularly in the counseling world right now. The Institute for Justice has a number of lawsuits saying that providing counseling is free speech, and you shouldn't have to be licensed to do it.

Be prepared for your REx-PN exam by reviewing the candidate rules, ID requirements and taking virtual tours of the test center. RECEIVE MATERIALS: An on-screen calculator and erasable note board/marker for making notes will be provided. SET THE PACE: Candidates have four hours to complete the REx-PN, including breaks. Take time to analyze each question carefully—once a response is submitted candidates cannot return to that question. FINISHING UP: The test will end with a short survey. Afterwards, candidates should raise their hand and wait for the test administrator to dismiss them. Acceptable ID Identification presented to take the REx-PN must meet certain requirements.

Types of Cases The BON is called into action when there is an alleged violation of the state's nurse practice act. Disciplinary cases are often grouped into the following categories: practice related, drug related, boundary violations, sexual misconduct, abuse, fraud, positive criminal background checks.
