I did hospital ethics consultation. And I enjoyed that so much that I chose to give up clinical work way back in 2001.

    NCSBN is a complex organization and each department has a packed agenda. There’s also a recognition that by collaborating we can achieve better things. I think that’s an opportunity to learn together, because I might be coming across issues for the first time, or I might be coming across issues that I’ve seen many times before in a very different context. Coming across the Atlantic, I would say one of the major differences for both my wife and me is that we are living in an enormous city for the first time.

    I worked as an English teacher for four years in South Korea and got to travel a lot around Asia in that time. I have had insatiable wanderlust ever since! I’m definitely looking forward to travel returning to normal as we learn how to adapt to a post-COVID world so I can start getting back out there and exploring new places!

    Forest Service. I love spending time in nature; camping and hiking with my husband. We especially love to take trips out west to visit the national parks and forests. Whether I would be providing educational opportunities for visitors to learn about the ecology of our parks or leading volunteer projects to conserve and protect these special places, I would be very happy living life in those wide open spaces, soaking in the beauty of our country’s natural landscape while sharing my love for them with others.
