Find out how to schedule or reschedule your NCLEX appointment and what happens if you miss your test. Repeat candidates will be offered an appointment starting 45 days after the last exam attempt. Candidates may decline the appointment offered and schedule later than the 30 or 45 days. If their first-choice date or time is unavailable, candidates will be offered an alternative as close to their first choice as possible. IDs presented for the NCLEX must be valid, government-issued, and include a first and last name in roman characters, a recent photo and a signature. Name Change Requirements If the name that the candidate registered with is different from the name on their identification, they must bring a marriage license, divorce decree or court action legal name change document to the test center on the day of the test. All documents must contain the name change in Roman characters and be the original copies.

NCLEX Candidates are required to review the Candidate Rules prior to taking the exam. On exam day, candidates must agree to the exam's terms and conditions. In the event NCSBN and/or Pearson determines that I have engaged in irregular behavior, my examination may be invalidated and the nursing regulatory body may take other action and I will not be refunded my examination fee. I understand that my results may be canceled or withheld if, in NCSBN’s or my nursing regulatory body’s judgment, there is a basis to question the validity of the results for any reason, notwithstanding the absence of any evidence of my personal involvement in irregular activities. Evidence of invalid results may include, but is not limited to, unusual answer patterns or unusual score increases from one exam to another.
