The other thing I would say, Maryann, is I'm going to flip to the other side. An exam is a word. You can put any meaning you want to it, but an exam is not an exam, is not an exam. What do I mean by that? Just because some company says they have an English exam doesn't mean that, in fact, that exam is valid or reliable.

Three tests are simulated from the new pool: a minimum-length easy test, a maximum-length borderline difficulty test and a minimum-length difficult test.

What is NCLEX? NCLEX is the exam that we use to measure minimum competency in nurses. So the NCLEX exam is fair and comprehensive, it's entry-level, and it's current practice. The process that we use in developing the NCLEX is we include item development, maintenance, and measurement.
