The National Council of State Boards of Nursing (NCSBN) is a not-for-profit organization whose purpose is to provide an organization through which boards of nursing act and counsel together on matters of common interest and concern affecting the public health, safety and welfare, including the development of licensing examinations in nursing. A multistate license facilitates cross-border practice for many types of nurses who routinely practice with patients in other states, including primary care nurses, case managers, transport nurses, school and hospice nurses and many others. And maybe they'll be able to show you some of the collections that they have, but for them to celebrate, not a technological accomplishment, but the words that inspired it, I think speaks to us as to how important they felt Kennedy's leadership was in helping them to accomplish their goals and set the stage for this and why I think we can learn quite a few lessons from it.
