    Lori continually strives to improve nursing regulation across the nation. She has worked with other boards of nursing to foster academic pathways for streamlined recognition of military education, service, and experience toward nurse licensure. Under her direction, the Air Force 4N051 training is now academically recognized as board-approved practical nurse education. More than 100 airmen have been licensed as practical nurses in her state since the inception of this program in 2017. She is also a trailblazer with her recent work on NCSBN's fraud detection committee.
