Uniform licensure requirements provide consistent stan- dards and promote a health care system that is fluid and acces- sible by removing barriers to care and maximizing portability for nurses. Even more importantly, they assure the consumer that a nurse in one state has met the same requirements as nurses in every other state.

Using the data collected from the practice analysis, the REx-PN Test Plan is developed, which guides the selection of content and behaviors to be tested during REx-PN administration.
