In the Resource section of the Hive, there are articles and other resources (such as some of the handouts from our education calls) that you should find valuable. The Hive also contains all of our education call agendas and recordings, and a schedule for the calls. On the very front page of the Hive is a list and contact information for all education consultants. For networking, I host education consultant calls monthly. I will send out monthly reminders for the calls. The yearly call agenda is decided upon by the education consultants on our September call.

For example, there is no conceivable reason for placing all of the modern street lights in the areas of the city occupied by white residents and none in the areas occupied by Negro residents. Nor does the record demonstrate why it happens that the inadequate water pressure exists largely in the Negro areas.

Please stay calm, I'm not going to put you into sleep by talking about the statistical models. Instead, I want to emphasize to you that we have a large enough item bank to support the CAT exam. If your ability is very high, we have very difficult items for you. If your ability is very low, we still can find you very easy items for you to answer. The CAT exams are so challenging for all test takers. If you take a CAT exam and start to see difficult items, that means your ability estimate is getting higher, and you may have a good chance to pass the exam.

My direct phone number is 312-525-3657, and my email address is nspector@ncsbn.org . Please do not hesitate to ask questions, and if I don’t know the answers, I will contact someone who does. We have an Education Consultant coach program, so let me know if you’d be interested in that. I have developed some guidelines for the program, but generally each new consultant and coach can make it into what works for them. I ask for you and your coach to connect at least once a month, either on the phone or by email. If you'll both be at either Delegate Assembly or Midyear, it is nice to meet.
