For what we provide our writers, we ask them to provide real high-fidelity scenarios. So in many cases, the RN would be making the assignment for the LPN if that is the format of the question that the writer is attempting to write. We do a system in writing questions related to RN and LPN delegation. In addition to RN or LPN delegation to CNAs or techs, that is clearly stated, always clearly stated, in the stem of the item.

I mean, I think getting AI to the midst of our solutions and helping regulators is probably the easy part. Getting the political will and ability to actually sit down and talk to each other and make something standard across the board, that's the harder part. I'll stop at that. - So those are all good thoughts. I'm going to elicit a few good answers from Dr. Chang. And so what I've heard is really things of what do we learn from early attempts to replicate the human mind in medicine, and what can we learn from their failures or sort of reboots at that time?

  • Pennsylvania To Allow Nurses with Multistate Licenses to Begin Practicing in the State Sept. 5 | NCSBN

The National Council of State Boards of Nursing (NCSBN) is a not-for-profit organization whose purpose is to provide an organization through which boards of nursing act and counsel together on matters of common interest and concern affecting the public health, safety and welfare, including the development of licensing examinations in nursing. Although the NLC has been enacted in Pennsylvania, an implementation process must be completed before its residents will be able to apply for a multistate license. Residents of Pennsylvania will be unable to obtain a multistate license until the NLC is fully implemented in the commonwealth. The compact allows registered nurses (RNs) and licensed practical/vocational nurses (LPN/VNs) to have one multistate license, with the ability to practice in person or via telehealth, in both their home territory/state and other NLC states.  Licensure requirements are aligned in NLC states, so all nurses applying for a multistate license are required to meet those same standards, including submission to a federal and state fingerprint-based criminal background check.
