Government Affairs also provided a report on the CMS Nursing Home Staffing Campaign. In response to the April 2024 CMS minimum staffing standards for long-term care, CMS launched a staffing campaign to recruit RNs and CNAs for long-term care employment. On Jan. 8, 2025, CMS announced the start of its financial incentive program to recruit RNs into long-term care.
