So, if you're listening to speakers talk about the NGN and clinical judgment, just be sure that it's validated by the NCSBN website or other official sources related to that organization. I'm also making an assumption that you're not standing there lecturing all the time to your students, that you are using active learning in your classroom and now, of course, online, rather than depending on lecture.

Our objectives are going to be able to locate the NLC resources related to new NLC participation. We wanted to be sure that we talked about that for members who haven't joined yet. And also, to be able to navigate and locate the NLC commission resources that are currently available on the website. Next slide. A good way to get to the NLC is where you would get started. You'd go to the NCSBN website and across the top, you see a tab that says Licensure Compacts. You would just simply click on the Licensure Compacts and then select Nurse Licensure Compact.

We will also be presenting at the September meeting of the Council on Licensure, Enforcement and Regulation and, in June, we've been asked to repeat this presentation for the NCSBN Discipline Conference. We've developed and continue to develop resources on our website and all of those are accessible to anyone who has an interest in this topic. So, what did we learn and how do we go about that inquiry? We learned that...sorry, when we learned that we had a healthcare serial killer on our register, our goal was to learn as much as we could about this phenomenon.

Mobilization is you believe in this thing that we all believe in. That is our rights, our love of our country, the country we share, and you fight. ©2024 National Council of State Boards of Nursing, Inc. All rights reserved. 11 You give up everything. You consent freely to die, the price of liberty. This is not New Hampshire. I'm not talking about live free or die, but I am talking about the costs of regime change. And if you overturn the old regime in the empire, that's an opening for rethinking, reconfiguring, but not when it comes to slavery at that point.

So, if you have any questions for us, you can reach out to us, but we would love for this to be interactive, so if you have other ideas while we're going, please feel free to interrupt and start a conversation with us. - [Gretchen] All right. So, Alicia and I put together this presentation last year for the Nurse Licensure Compact... Was it a disciplinary series? But I think it was an educational series last spring. We revamped this a little bit, have more examples, so if you l ...

And, we're getting a lot more information out of them. But more importantly, what I want to show you is how much data we got. So remember, that was 300,000 individuals who took the exam. ©2019 National Council of State Boards of Nursing, Inc. All rights reserved. 6 You know how many data points that ended up being? Close to 3 million. That is fabulous. If we think our nurses are not engaged, at least at that level, they are. If I could just get them engaged at the practice analysis level, I'd be really excited about that. Can you imagine 3 million data points on a practice analysis?

So this horrific accident changed his whole world, and he ended up becoming a behavioral economist. And what is behavioral economics? We aren't rational as human beings. If we were rational as human beings, we would never steal. We would fund our 401(k)s or IRAs from the minute you get your first job at age 16. But humans aren't rational. And that's kind of the whole thing about behavioral economics. I could go into way, way more, I could explain it way, way more, but Ariely does such a wonderful job with it.
