And so my team was thinking critically about what are the reasons we're hearing why people aren't using it? It feels unsafe. It feels unfamiliar. And the session limit was a barrier. But with our outpatient clinic, you know, we're open 7:00 to 7:00, Monday through Friday. That's not 24/7 like a hospital is. So, what do we do about all the times outside of those hours that staff need support? So, in August 2021, we stood up what we call the Wellness Triage Pager. And this is a paging system where an on-call social worker responds 24/7, within 60 minutes, to the feelings of, "I feel overwhelmed," "I feel concerned."

I email the Ohio Department of Health (which is the licensing agent for nurse aides) for the detective. 12:45 – Receive information I requested from a facility. Copy that information and quickly review it to make sure it is complete. I put the information in the file and move the file to the “ready to be typed up” pile. 1:30 – Receive a call from another detective. He will be late to our 2:15 pm meeting at a facility. 2:00 – Travel to a nearby facility to talk with staff and interview a patient witness prior to a nurse arriving for work at 3:00 pm. I reviewed the records the prior day and had enough to interview the nurse when she showed up to work.

Marijuana-Impaired Driving
The report is to educate the public that drugs other than alcohol, including marijuana, are absorbed, distributed and eliminated from the body differently than alcohol. While BAC correlates closely with impairment, there is no such measure (e.g., THC) for marijuana that correlates with impairment. Thus, a BAC-equivalent impairment measure is not possible.
