If this Population Focus/Specialty is supposed to serve as a Primary Population Focus/Specialty, select the Primary option Note: If certification is not required, there is an option labeled Certification Not Required .

ORBS Back Office Quick Reference Guide Change Base RN for APRN Licensure This is a quick reference guide (QRG) on the process to change base RN for APRN licensure. Change base RN for APRN Licensure ORBS Criteria for Changing the Base RN for APRN Licensure: 1. APRN Licensee requires a change to the RN basis of their APRN licensure 2. The APRN Licensee must have an active and unencumbered RN license to serve as the basis for their APRN licensure. Note: For non-NLC Boards of Nursing, the ORBS system prohibits APRN renewal until the RN renewal application has been submitted.
