Change base RN for APRN Licensure ORBS Criteria for Changing the Base RN for APRN Licensure: 1. APRN Licensee requires a change to the RN basis of their APRN licensure 2. The APRN Licensee must have an active and unencumbered RN license to serve as the basis for their APRN licensure. Note: For non-NLC Boards of Nursing, the ORBS system prohibits APRN renewal until the RN renewal application has been submitted.
