How did you make the transition from nurse to nurse investigator? Was it a difficult transition to make? I found my transition from the ICU and emergency department nurse to compliance agent to be very easy. In my experience as a clinical nurse, I worked in surgical, medical, cardiac, neuro intensive care units, stepdown units, a level one trauma center (my longest tenure) and several other Cleveland area emergency departments. I understood how to review documents and why there was a complaint because I had worked in high acuity settings.
