If the candidate does not have a device that attaches to their body or if it makes a sound, a separate room accommodation will need to be added to the candidate's request in addition to the personal item accommodation, detailing the make and model of the medical device. NCSBN will request the NRB to collect and provide photos of the personal items before the accommodations can be granted.
