The use of educational technology to facilitate students' experiential learning really needs to be revisited. So, with that virtual clinical simulation space, there needs to be more research on this topic. There needs to be rigorous evidence- based guidelines for when to use it, what constitutes virtual simulation, and what produces consistently strong and replicable student outcomes. So, I could go on and on about this, but obviously, we do have very important news here coming shortly.

And by the way, it's what most AI's do today in the testing industry. I suggest to you that's not enough. I tell you that we ought to be going to general AI, so that an AI can look at multiple tasks being done by test takers and proctors start understanding and defining not when there's cheating, but when is there aberrant test takers? What is happening in a multitude of variables that would point out that we have something going on here with this candidate that suggests they are not being honest around their test-taking.

I have two quick questions for you. The first being, how were the five states chosen for the APRN component of the survey? And also, were you able to identify the APRNs by type? ©2024 National Council of State Boards of Nursing, Inc. All rights reserved. 5 Because, you know, there are four distinct types and so not all four share the same transition to practice hours that you see across the country. And I think, when you look at the 500,000 or so nurses who are represented by the four APRN groups who are all fairly strongly in opposition to the APRN Compact, I would wonder if you decipher that a little bit. - Thank you very much.

We all learned a lot. And then there was the moment when David Benton announced that he was going to retire as CEO so a search ensued. What I'm very grateful for during those memorable moments is that members and staff responded. The support was there, the structure was there, the bylaws, the policies, the articles of incorporation and most importantly the guidance of our legal counsel Tom Wilde who serves NCSBN so well and carried us through.

Incorrect answers are known as distractors. The correct answer is referred to as a key and is indicated in this sample item with the asterisk. As this is a multiple choice item, there is only one key or correct answer. But keep in mind, the number of keys vary with multiple response items. Now that we understand the parts of an item, let's review some criteria in writing items. When constructing response options, it is important to note the following.

NCLEX Online | NCLEX
Site: nclex.com
NCSBN is exploring technology that would allow candidates to take the NCLEX online. This would allow candidates to take the test in locations other than traditional test centers, while still maintaining ultimate exam security and integrity. You can stay updated by following our social media or joining our email list . I heard it is launching in 2026 - is that true? No, the NCLEX Online is not launching in 2026. We have not announced a specific date, but when we do, we will provide plenty of advance notice and comprehensive information. For updates, please see the bottom of this page to follow our social media and join our email list . Will international testing candidates be able to take the NCLEX online?

Maybe we haven't thought of everything, but we certainly tried and dug very deeply to look at these issues. We also reviewed data on state progress toward implementing or adopting the consensus model requirements and independent practice in particular. And of course, we've examined the political challenges that come up when you try to introduce the APRN Compact or really even the APRN consensus model. So, I'm going to tell you what our six main recommendations for policy change are and kind of how we got there. So, the first one is to amend the Compact to require 2,080 hours experience as a Uniform License Requirement.

So when it was evaluated, as far as the ED was concerned, there weren't any necessarily shortcomings involved with how that clinical care was carried out. The one thing that was very interesting to note was that they felt it necessary to prescribe the first dose of warfarin.

If you pass the course, you pass it. You're not going to get an A, B, C, D. That is part of Canvas and the demonstration it was on there. The only time you will get a grade, and this is why we need it on there if you choose to take the course for academic credit, then there will be a grade involved. Otherwise, you're going to get a pass... - Thank you. - ...if you pass it. - Also, will credit be given for the pilot?

As far as the Graduating Nurse Survey, there's much fewer nurses that were nursing students currently that were planning to leave their employer or that were working. So our sample was much smaller in this, and we only collected the ProQOL items from these individuals. But what we found when we look at intent to leave employer, the higher compassion satisfaction and the more reasons they work in North Dakota, the lower was their intent to leave their employer. So certainly they identified that there was a lot of reasons why they were there.
