Now, since there'll be six items in there, there might be one item in the set that's either a little bit more difficult or a little bit, you know, less difficult. But right around the average across all six of the items, it's going to be an item that's going to be right there in their area.

You can engage with it at your own pace and you get notified when someone actually puts some input in there so you can spark ideas off each other. So, if there are some of you that haven't signed up already, then I'd encourage you to look at the travel boards and offer your services to get involved in some of our work.

As seen in Figure 2, most item calibrations fell close to the reference line. There was a slight trend, however, that some innovative items were more difficult than their coun- terparts in text format. When interpreting these findings, one should bemindful of the sample size limitation in the current study. Because of the small sample sizes, 7 of the 119 items calibrated contained no variability in candidate responses.

So facial mapping and scan, I'll show you in a little bit about how that might possibly work. And notice, I'm using the words possible. You know, we think we're landing on really good solutions, but we're constantly evaluating them as we're looking at these things. So nothing is 100% set in stone in terms of how exactly it will work. There will be a voice scan and recognition, which is really interesting. Keystroke analysis will be leveraged in this kind of thing. The Canadian center for advanced nursing research is looking at the Advanced Practice role. But education would be required for specialization. There's also a task force that has been set up by the Canadian nurses Association to look at building upon the RN certification programs to develop NP certification programs. Currently when we moved to that generalist NP practice, there won't be coming out from, specialization specifically to the adult and pediatric as there is right now. Ask Lynn talk about, the legacy planning and all of those pieces are not solidified yet. That is the work that we are looking at right now for about specialization.

We'll be stuck in the emotion if we allow it to be there, which is like an art in itself, and we breathe through it, it doesn't get stuck to us. So part of our emotional intelligence is directly tied to our digital wellness because when we're stuck in the shallows, it's harder to feel, right? ©2024 National Council of State Boards of Nursing, Inc.

Dyads are worth one point and triads are worth two points. These scoring rules were thoroughly researched through millions of responses and it was determined that all the new NGN item types fit neatly into one of three scoring rules. In summary, the 0/1 scoring rule is used when candidates are instructed to select a specific number of options. The +/- scoring rule is used when candidates are instructed to select an unspecified number of options. And the rationale scoring rule is used when paired information is being assessed.

And we see that the percent of initiations from general surgery providers drops significantly, with larger shares going now to primary care specialties. And when we focus on primary care alone, we see that both PAs and NPs contribute to initiations less than physicians, which in itself isn't surprising because there are fewer NPs and PAs than primary care physicians. Next, we take a deeper dive into the different specialties just within NPs, as well as begin looking at our prescribing measures of interests.

I wanted to start out by letting you know that we are currently tracking 831 bills at the state level that affect your states across the country. So just to kind of show you the magnitude of bills that affect nursing or the regulation. When I tell people what I do for a living, their first reaction is, "Are there really that many bills that you could possibly be worried about? Like, all those bills affect nurses?" I'm just like, "You have no idea the bills that get filed." Yeah. So just to kind of give you a picture of our landscape.
