    Once the application is processed, it gets removed from the work queue and this is how staff knows that the work is done. No need to file any paper or create and fill up file folders. If paper does arrive at the board office (i.e. the board still accommodates paper license applications), then scan and digitize, fill out the online application on behalf of the applicant via the ORBS nurse portal, and upload the original scanned application as part of the uploaded documents to the applicants file. By distributing the work of filling out their online applications online, huge amounts of efficiencies may be gained and less perfunctory work for the board staff (no entering of application in the system from paper applications).
