    I think we all discuss that significantly here today, so I won't go into the detail. But one more thing that we have found to be successful in healthcare AI is go for a quick win. Show that there is small value, incremental value, right? So pick a project within your organizations that will lead to a quick win. If you go for a very long-range project that requires investment of multiple years to get an outcome, then you will fall into this hype cycle and then nobody will believe you. So we always like to qualify the problem to make sure that it meets all these four attributes in your system, right?

    So for example, they started diving into artificial intelligence about four years ago, just about the start of the pandemic, which is obviously a huge, now, issue in the telehealth space, but they had some early and still have programs going on in AI and telehealth. Our learning program is new. This is somewhat like Project ECHO. How many of you are familiar with Project ECHO? Okay, a few. Project ECHO is a very formal training program for distance learning, and it's well organized. It started at University of New Mexico. It works well, but a lot of our grantees at HRSA, we discovered were using ECHO, but they were also creating their own homegrown versions of an ECHO-like distance learning program.

The results of this survey are especially valuable in that the data obtained can be used to project possible shortages and assist in the allocation of resources, program development decisions, and recruitment efforts in both the health care system and education sectors. As organizations representing the health care professional licensing and regulatory boards in the U.S., the Federation of State Medical Boards (FSMB), National Association of Boards of Pharmacy (NABP) and NCSBN formed the Tri-Regulator Collaborative in 2011.

    So, routinely, as with all our committees, we usually have about seven or eight individuals that meet on an ongoing basis, discuss it, look at evidence, and decide what revisions are going to be made, and how they're going to answer the charge. But this is such an enormous project. It is a big burden to put on seven or eight individuals. So we decided to do something different this time, and we are going to have a 24-person committee that is broken down into 4 subcommittees. And each of these individuals have expertise in a different area.
