With eNotify, institutions can receive notifications on license status changes, expiration updates and renewal reminders, publicly available disciplinary actions, Board-issued public notifications, multi-state and single-state licensure changes within the nurse licensure compact, and the authorization to practice map shows where each nurse can practice. More than 16,000 healthcare institutions are already using Nursys eNotify, and getting started is easy. Visit Nursys.com and fill in some brief information about your institution to create an administrator account. You can then add additional users as needed and start enrolling nurses individually or through a bulk upload. Larger organizations also have the options for enrolling their nurses directly from their systems.

She encouraged me to open the lines of communication and begin to break down the walls of the regulator. She gently reminded me to keep the board's mission always in my forefront. My mentor truly knows all the ins and outs. Thanks to NCSBN and the education consultant program, I was also allowed to shadow a site visit with my mentor. This came at a most opportune time as I was gearing up to do my first site visit in Wyoming just two months after shadowing. My mentor could have done the bare minimum, but once you've met her, you understand quickly that's not what she does.
