And the first rule of evidence that everybody needs to have, you know, a somewhat basic understanding of, is the hearsay rule. And that really is a very simple rule. A witness on the stand cannot say what another witness told that person unless that other witness is also going to be in court. That's it. Nurse A can't say, "Well, nurse Z told me X, Y, Z." Generally, that's not allowed. That's hearsay. There are a lot of exceptions to hearsay that may be applicable. And it's not just witness testimony that is subject to the hearsay rule, but it's also documents that are subject to the hearsay rule.
